Ingredients

    1) Rice - 250 gms (about 3 cups)
    2) Carrot - chopped - 2
    3) Cabbage, napa - 50 gms, shredded
    4) Cabbage, red - 50 gms shredded
    5) Onions - sliced into thin pieces, 1 medium
    6) Green beans - chopped - about 100 gms
    7) Salt to taste
    8) Sesame oil - 1 tbsp
    9) Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
    10) Red chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
    11) Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp

Directions

1) Soak the rice in some water and keep aside
2) Steam all the vegetables (other than onion) until they turn soft (do not let them get soggy).
2) In a pan, add the sesame oil and heat it. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute.
3) Add onions, salt, soy sauce and red chilly sauce and saute.
4) Once the onions turn translucent, add the other vegetables and saute.
5) Remove the rice from the water and add to the pan and saute for sometime so that it is thoroughly mixed with the veggies.
6) Add water (in a proportion of about 1.5 to 1.7 cups of water for 1 cup of rice depending on the type of rice) and let it boil until the rice is cooked.

This makes about 7 cups of delicious veg fried rice.
