Ingredients
-
2 loaves Homemade White Bread
1 1/2 cubes Nucoa Margarine (=12 T)
1/2 c Dried Cranberries (Craisins)
1 c Celery, diced
1/2 c Almonds, chopped
1/3 to 1 whole Granny Smith Apple, diced
4 c Vegetable Broth
1 t Garlic Salt
1 t Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 T Poultry Seasoning
1 t Sea Salt
1/2 t Oregano
Directions
Combine all seasonings in a bowl. Set aside.
Crumble up bread into a large single use aluminum turkey roasting pan. Sprinkle with half of seasonings, mix well, sprinkle remaining seasonings, mix again.
Chop onions & celery. Cook in a pan on the stove with margarine until mostly cooked. Spoon 1/2 of mixture over bread, gently incorporate. Do the same with the other 1/2 of onion/celery mixture.
Sprinkle choppped almonds and craisins over stuffing and spread the love!
Pour vegetable broth over bread, gently moving the bread around as you pour, so as to wet it evenly. If the bread is not very dry, less broth will be needed.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes until heated through. Enjoy the scent that will fill your home!
If you like your stuffing crunchy on top, bake without covering it with foil. If you like it soft, then cover it!
