Introduction

A family favorite. SO easy, you can substitute your favourite marinade, or even a prepared sauce. Just be sure it isn't too thick. A family favorite. SO easy, you can substitute your favourite marinade, or even a prepared sauce. Just be sure it isn't too thick.

Ingredients

1 Kg Beef or Pork Tenderloin
    4T Soy Sauce
    4T Black Bean Sauce
    1/3 cup Brown Sugar
    1 clove minced Garlic
    1/4t Horseradish
    1/4t Montreal Steak Spice
    1/2 - 1 cup Water
    1 dozen rolls

Directions

Put meat of choice in crock pot, mix all other ingredients together to form marinade. Pour over meat and let cook in crock pot from 3 - 6 hours, the longer the better! Take two forks, and shred the meat when it is cooked. Serve the shredded meat in buns with your favourite side salad or raw veggies. The recipe calculates out with a high sodium level, but you do not consume the marinade, so I have never been overly concerned; If high sodium is a concern, you can always cut out the black bean sauce. This recipe will make at least 12 buns.
