Introduction

This custard uses raw cow milk, farm fresh eggs, organic sugar, and sea salt because the freshness of the ingredients makes an incredibly delicious custard; however any mixture of farm or store-bought products will do!

This custard is wonderful on its own, or served with fresh berries for breakfast.

Ingredients

*Milk - Raw Cow, 4 cup
    Egg, fresh, 8 medium
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
    Nutmeg, ground, .5 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp

Directions

Place all ingredients except nutmeg in a blender and mix on low speed. If you do not have a blender, whisk in a bowl until you have a creamy consistency and egg is completely incorporated.

Pour into a baking dish and bake at 325 for 75 minutes or until the custard is set; that is, the top is solid and it "jiggles" when you tap or shake it lightly.

Let the custard cool completely before serving.
