Ingredients

    1/2 a recipe of Chocolately Cream Cheese Frosting or Filling

    3/4 cups Power Flour (or white whole wheat)
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    3/4 cup raw cane sugar
    2/3 cup dark cocoa

    1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 large egg
    2 egg whites
    1-4 tablespoons water (add enough to make batter spreadable)

    3 tbsp raspberry preserves (I used ED Smith Triple Fruit)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a brownie pan (8" square).
Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add wet and mix just until blended. Spread 2/3 of mixture into pan. Drop spoonfuls of the Chocolately Filling and the preserves and the remaining batter on top. Take a butter knife or spatula and swirl together to make a marbled effect.
Bake for 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

Makes 16 brownies
