Introduction
My "QUICK" Berry Pie. My "QUICK" Berry Pie.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
# *Oreo Pie Crust, 8 serving (remove)
# Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened, 3 cup, thawed (remove)
# Best Choice Mixed Berries, 1.5 cup (remove)
# Cornstarch, .25 cup (remove)
# Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp (remove)
# Truvia Natural Sweetener, 4 serving
Directions
Heat berries on medium heat until mostly thawed. Add Splenda (granulated), cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
After mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes (or until it gets thick). Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Spread mixture into pie crust. Place in fridge for several hours.
Cut into 8 slices.
Also, you can sub flour for the cornstarch and sub other fruits too. Sometimes I use kiwi! Yummy! Adjust the sweetener to your tastes AND your fruit. 4 packets is only a suggestion, it really depends on what kind of fruit you use. Buy your kiwis and berries in bulk! It helps later on in the year!
