Ingredients

    3 lb chuck roast, fat trimmed and removed, cut into bite sized pieces
    1 onion, cut into chunks
    6 large carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
    5 stalks celery, cut into chunks
    6 red potatoes, cut into quarters
    1.5 cups fresh mushrooms, halved
    2 cups frozen sweet corn
    1.5 cups frozen peas
    1 pkg pot roast seasooning
    1 pkg beef stew seasoning
    1 T salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1/4 cup corn starch
    1/3 cup flour
    10 cups water

Directions

Place meat, onions, carrots, mushrooms, celery, 8 cups water, and pot roast seasoning in crockpot on high for 4 hours. Add potatoes and continue cooking another hour. In separate bowl add 2 cups water to flour, corn starch, and beef stew seasoning and blend until smooth. Add to crockpot along with corn and continue cooking on high 1-2 hrs. until thickened. Add peas during last 30 minutes. Makes about 20 cups.
