Ingredients



    * herta tarte en or brisee, 230 gram(s) (remove)
    * Gouda Cheese, 75 grams (remove)
    * Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp (remove)
    * Onions, raw, 4 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    * Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 cup, chopped or sliced (remove)
    * *moutarde de dijon (1tsp), 3 tsp (remove)

Directions

Makes 6 slices.

Make the tarte dough yourself or purchase a standard 230g dough.

Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius (430 F).

Spread out the dough in a round mold covered with baking paper, press the dough into the mold and prick with a fork in several places.

Slice 4 onions thinly.

Optional: Heat 2 tbsp butter on low heat and brown onions for 20-30 minutes. It is not essential at all, but it gives onions a sweeter taste.

Spread the dough with mustard (vary the amount according to taste). Then layer onions, sliced tomatoes and cheese. I use gouda, but you can use any cheese you like.

Bake 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
