Ingredients

4 Boneless Skinless Chicken breast halves
2 15 oz cans of black beans
2 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes (no salt)
1 cup of your favorite salsa
4 oz can chopped green chilies
1 14.5 oz can of tomato sauce or tomato puree
Baked Tortilla Chips
2 cups grated low fat cheddar cheese
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker EXCEPT the chips and the cheese.
Cover and cook for 8 hours on low.
Just before serving remove chicken breasts and shred or slice into bite size pieces. Return them to the soup.
To serve put 1/2 oz tortilla chips (about 6 chips) in the bottom of the soup bowl. Ladle soup over the chips and top with 1/4 cup of cheese.
