Introduction

For my slow cooking comfort chili I recommend that you add the chili's and spices to taste, we like spicy, so it's easier for us to add spice & heat without adding to the calories. :) I also find that if you are not a fan of onions, it helps to cook those separately so they break down some and won't be as chunky in the chili later. It's also easy to make it vegetarian by removing the turkey. Makes 21 (1) Cup servings. Ingredients

    Jalapeno, tomato, low fat chicken stock, pasilla pepper, chili powder, garlic, red pepper, turkey, salt & pepper to taste, corn, kidney beans, black beans, chili beans, onions.

Directions

Brown turkey with seasonings in a skillet. Allow all other items to simmer in a large pot while the turkey is browning. Once turkey is ready combine all items and simmer until warm & ready. Goes great with some quality fresh bread.

    I've never tried with the different beans and corn. Sounds interesting. - 1/4/10
