Introduction

This is our favorite granola. Even my husband, who does not traditionally like "healthy food", loves it! This is our favorite granola. Even my husband, who does not traditionally like "healthy food", loves it!

Ingredients

    3 cups Rolled Oats
    1 cup slivered almonds
    1 cup roasted & salted cashew pieces
    3/4 shredded sweetened coconut
    1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
    1/4 cup Maple Syrup
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 250. Combine oats, nuts, coconut and brown sugar. In a separate bowl whisk together maple syrup, olive oil and vanilla. Pour maple syrup mixture over oat mixture and mix well. Spread evenly onto two cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour, 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. After you've baked it you can add raisins or dried fruit if you desire.
