Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 cup frozen blueberries
    1 small frozen banana, cut into chunks
    2 cups baby spinach leaves
    1 cup chocolate soymilk (add additional for desired smoothness)
    2 tbsp cocoa powder
    1 tbsp date sugar or 3 pitted dates

Directions

Place all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!

    I make lots of smoothies, I plan to try this one soon... however I won't use soy milk, I'll use flaxmilk or hemp milk, It should still be chocolatey enough with the cocoa powder, though I might need to add extra. Also, I have a bunch of dried dates and this could help me figure out how to use them. - 10/1/11

    Incredible!
    I left out the date sugar and the cocoa powder, opting to squeeze TJ's chocolate syrup right into my almond milk to make the chocolate milk, tossed in the banana, blueberries and spinach, and blended the stuffing out of it. Oh my, yum! Delicious smoothie! Thanks! - 3/23/11
