Introduction

I made this in an 8x8 greased pan and served it warm with a dollup of Breyers Double Churn low sugar icecream (about 1/4 cup). Good! I made this in an 8x8 greased pan and served it warm with a dollup of Breyers Double Churn low sugar icecream (about 1/4 cup). Good!

Ingredients

    1/2 C butter, salted
    2/3 C. skim milk
    1 1/2 C Bisquick, Heart Smart
    1 C granulated white sugar
    3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries with 1//4 c. sugar to sweeten slightly

    Directions:
    1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Melt margarine in 11x7 baking pan.
    3. Add milk, bisquik and sugar; stir until smooth.
    4. Heat blueberries in a pan with 1/4 c water and 1/4 c sugar (toss gently, but don't stir) to allow juice/sauce to form
    5. Drop spoonfuls of filling over batter.
    Bake 30-35 minutes, until deep golden brown.

    Very Good
    I tried this today and it was a hit. I did substitute Sativa for the sugar and used flieshman's olive margarine. It still browned nicely. I also only added a Tbs of Sativa to the berries when heating since I used fresh berries. Will make again.
