Ingredients

    12 to 14 oz venison cube steak
    1/4 c whole wheat flour
    1 medium onion, cut into wedges
    2 medium carrots, slices
    1 quart stewed tomatoes

Directions

Dredge venison in flour and brown in large, deep nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add onions, carrots, and tomatoes. If mixtures seems dry, add water or beef stock .Also add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to medium low. Cook until meat is tender, about 1 hour.

    This was great, we put it over brown rice!! By boyfriend even liked it and he really tries to fend for himself when I make "diet" food. We eat a lot of venison so this is great. Thank you! - 2/11/10
