Introduction

This is a very old recipe that my mom had from when she was in Home Economics in highschool. Very similar to the Baker's Chocolate recipe from the inside of the box. Ingredients

    2/3 C. All-Purpose Flour
    1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1/3 C. Butter
    2 squares Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate
    1 C. Sugar
    2 Eggs
    1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
    6 oz. Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

1. Set oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease an 8x8x2 inch pan.
3. Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, and sift again.
4. Melt butter and Baker's chocolate over hot water (double boiler). Cool slightly.
5. Beat eggs, then add sugar gradually, beating thoroughly.
6. Add chocolate mixture and blend.
7. Add flour and mix well; then mix in vanilla extract.
8. Add semisweet chocolate chips.
9. Spread in greased pan. Bake in pre-heated oven 20-25 minutes, or until done.
10. Cool in pan, then cut into 16 squares (4 x 4 rows).
