Ingredients

1 small head of cabbage
1/2 of a 16 oz. Polish sausage
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 med. onion, diced
Directions
1. Halve, then quarter cabbage. Cut out core. Chop.
2. Add cabbage, chicken stock, and onion to large pot and bring to a boil. Simmer about 10-15 minutes, until cabbage is tender.
3. While cabbage cooks, halve the Polish sausage lengthwise, then cut in half inch pieces.
4. Add heavy cream, sausage, salt, and black pepper.
5. Simmer 10 minutes to combine flavors, or longer if you wish to reduce, and serve.
