Introduction

Trying to eliminate refined sugars, and eat real food. These are a way to get you started. They're pretty tasty. Trying to eliminate refined sugars, and eat real food. These are a way to get you started. They're pretty tasty.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 cup regular oatmeal
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1tbsp honey
    1/4 cup maple syrup
    1/2 cup canola oil
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 tsp molasses
    1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)

Directions

Pre heat oven to 350. Spray baking sheet lightly with cooking spray. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. In another bowl combine wet ingredients. Add the wet to the dry and stir to combine. Fold in walnuts. Using spoon(s), drop teaspoonfuls on to baking sheet and press down slightly to flatten the tops. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Transfer to rack to cool completely.

You can also substitute white flour, brown sugar for the honey, and any nuts desired. Fruit or chocolate chips can be added as well.
