Ingredients

    2 T olive oil
    1 t chicken base
    the meat from 1 chicken leg
    1 onion, chopped
    1 t minced garlic
    3 medium carrots, peeled & chopped
    3 celery ribs, chopped
    10 C water
    10 baby golden potatoes, chopped
    3 oz. frozen corn
    1 t ground sage
    1 t poultry seasoning
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

1. Heat oil in a stock pot. Saute onion, garlic, & chicken until fragrant.
2. Add all other ingredients in the order listed. Bring to a low boil and boil for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Makes 8 1 1/2 C servings
