Chewy Cake Chewy Cake
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1t. vanilla
    1 stick light butter
    1 1/'2 - 2 c. pecans*

Directions

Combine flour and sugar and make sure that the lumps are broken up. Add eggs, butter, and vanilla. Mix until blended. Fold in Pecans*. Place in 9x13 glass baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove and let cool on rack before cutting. Cut into 24 squares. You can dust with powdered sugar if you want it a bit more sweet. Pecans can be replaced with coconut or any other type of nut you like. Pecans are traditional in our family.
