Introduction

This is a reduced fat option for Garlic Mashed Potatoes using Smart Balance. This is a reduced fat option for Garlic Mashed Potatoes using Smart Balance.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    *Potato, raw, 6 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove)
    Garlic, 2 tsp (remove)
    Smart Balance Butter Blend w/ Omega 3, 4 tbsp (remove)
    Milk, nonfat, 0.25 cup (remove)

Directions

Peel and cube the potatoes and add to sauce pan. Mince the garlic and add to potatoes. Cover potatoes and garlic with water and bring to a simmered boil. Cook until tender, about 45 minutes. Once fork tender, add the SmartBalance and milk, mash with potato masher and serve. This will make about 12 - 1/2 cup servings.

**You can also use small red skinned potatoes and boil them whole until tender.***
