Ingredients

    6 oz Ground Beef, Chicken, Porl
    1 tbsp olive or canola oil
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
    1 tbsp minced garlic
    1 1/2 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef and onion until browned, 4 to 5 minutes. Transfer to 4-quart or larger slow cooker. Add bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, tomatoes, and broth. Stir. 2. Cover. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours. Add beans and cook on high, stirring occasionally, 1 more hour. Serve topped with dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.
