Ingredients

1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb lean stew beef cubes
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 14.5 oz can of white kidney bean (cannellini), drained
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 14.5 oz can beef broth
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp oregano
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tsp cumin (omit for turkey chili)
shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
hot sauce (optional)
sour cream (optional)
Directions
In a large & deep frying pan, heat oil over medium flame then add beef, onion, salt and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until ground beef is cooked through. Drain fat & add to slow cooker.
Add all remaining ingredients (except cheese, sour cream & hot sauce) to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Stir well before serving. Top with sour cream, cheese, and hot sauce as desired.
