Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Sugar - Evaporated sugar cane juice, 1 CUP
Water 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Lemon Juice, 1 cup
Ice cold water, 4 cups (8 fl oz)

Makes 8 glasses

Pour the first cup water and the sugar in a small pan on medium heat. Mix until sugar is dissolved into the water. Cool.

This is called a simple syrup. It will sweeten your lemonade, and it works by dissolving the sugar before adding it to the chilled water.

Step 2
In a large pitcher, combine cooled syrup and lemon juice.

Step 3

Fill pitcher with the 4 cups of ice water and stir well. Serve your lemonade made with lemon juice in tall glasses, garnished with a slice of real lemon if available.
Sliced citrus or other fruit, washed well before slicing, can also be added to the beverage for flavor and presentation.
