Ingredients

    8 Cups chopped, raw, roma tomatoes
    4 Cups chopped, raw, onion
    4 Cups chopped, raw, red bell pepper
    8 Cups tomato sauce, canned
    4 gloves garlic, fresh
    4 Tablespoons dried basil

Directions

Chop all the vegetables and combine in a large skillet. Simmer about 1 hour. Add basil and simmer 30 minutes longer. Let cool. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Makes 9 - 12 cups sauce. 1/2 cup = 1 serving
