Introduction

I couldn't find a low sodium 1,000 Island dressing, so I came up with my own healthy version I couldn't find a low sodium 1,000 Island dressing, so I came up with my own healthy version

Ingredients

    Nonfat milk, 2/3 cup
    Parsley, dried 1 tbsp
    vinegar 1 tsp
    onion powder 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder 1/8 tsp
    light fat free lemon yogurt, 6 oz
    no salt added ketchup, 3 tbsp

Directions

Makes about 15 tbsp. Mix all ingredients & chill. It thickens and flavors improve after it chills for a while.

    going to try this as I like 1000, but it is too hi in calories. Hope this passes muster LOL - 7/3/10
