Introduction

We find this really good and more filling than at the pizza place as we put a lot more vegetable on it. We find this really good and more filling than at the pizza place as we put a lot more vegetable on it.

Ingredients

Pizza Crust, Momma Mary's 12 in. serves 6,
    Olive Oil, 1 tsp
Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
*Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1/2 c chopped
Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 1/4 c chopped
    Onions, raw, 1/3 cup, chopped
    *Spanish Olives w/pimento - 6 sliced
Black Olives, 8 large sliced (about 1/2 c)
Mushrooms, fresh, .25 cup, pieces or slices
Mozzarella Cheese, whole milk, 1 cup, shredded

Directions

Brush the olive oil on the crust.
While chopping the vegetables, heat the oven to 450 degrees. We use a pizza stone to set our crust on so you may have to adjust times if you don't have one of these.
Smooth the tomato paste over the crust. Sprinkle with oregano if you like. Then layer the vegetables. Top with the cheese and cilantro or more oregano if you like, and bake 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and the crust gets brown.
According to the crust a 12 in crust should serve 6 people. Usually, it serves 3 to 4 at most.
For 6 this is only about 280 calories a serving. If you add 8 oz. of lean cooked and drained ground beef it will be about
380 calories per serving. If you choose to use 1/2 lb of cooked ground turkey, each serving is about 346 cal.
