This is an altered version of Black Bean Brownies and Black Bean Fudge Squares Recipes.
Instead of walnuts and chocolate chips, you could easily use cinnimon, peanut butter, coffee or other flavors.
I kept the serving to a 2"x2" square so they are easier for me to count at 100 cal per serving. These squares are pretty gooey and stick to the pan. I think they are better on the second day, although they fall apart more. I had my husband try these knowing there was a "secret" ingredient. He loved them.
A successful and nutritious cravings-buster! Healthy enough for breakfast, IMO, but you'd want to eat both servings.
2 cps flour
1 cup brown sugar
one egg
one cup fat free sour cream or non fat yougurt
one tsp baking powder
one tsp baking soda
one tsp vanilla
one egg
one cup sugar free apple sauce
one forth cup of chopped nuts
one fourth cup of rasins
one hafe cup of margarine
Recipe came with our cuisinart counter home maker which has a container you put in freezer. We are estimating 10, 1 cup servings, will revise if we get more or less
good substitute for apple pie, caramel apple or even a baked apple!
