Ingredients

    Raisins, .25 cup, packed (remove)
    *Alcohol, Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky, 1 oz (remove)
    *2 percent milk 1 cup, 1.25 serving (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp (remove)
    Nutmeg, ground, .25 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 dash (remove)
    Bread, french or vienna (includes sourdough), 8 oz (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup (remove)
    Light Corn Syrup, .25 cup (remove)
    *Alcohol, Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky, 4 oz (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)
    Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), .5 cup (remove)
    I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Regular Spread (Stick), 1 Tbsp, 4 serving

Directions

Combine raisins and 2 T. bourbon in a bowl. Let Stand 30 minutes. Drain mixture in a sieve over a bowl, reserving liquid. Combine reserved liquid, milk and next 6 ingredients (milk thru eggs) in a large bowl, stirring well with a whisk. Add bread, tossing gently to coat. Spoon mixture into an 8" square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle evenly with raisins, pressing gently into bread mixture Cover with foil; chill 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. Preheat oven to 350. Place dish in a 13 x 9" baking pan, add hot water to pan to a depth of 1 inch. Bake covered at 350 for 20 minutes, Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Combine the 1/2 c. sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer; cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in 1/4 cup of bourbon. Serve each pudding with about 1 T. of Sauce.
