Introduction

This is an altered version of Black Bean Brownies and Black Bean Fudge Squares Recipes.
Instead of walnuts and chocolate chips, you could easily use cinnimon, peanut butter, coffee or other flavors.
I kept the serving to a 2"x2" square so they are easier for me to count at 100 cal per serving. These squares are pretty gooey and stick to the pan. I think they are better on the second day, although they fall apart more. I had my husband try these knowing there was a "secret" ingredient. He loved them.

Ingredients

    15oz can of black beans (drain and rinse)
    1 cup egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters original)
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup walnuts
    1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    3 - 5 tbsp cocoa unsweetented powder
    2 tbsp applesauce
    2 tsp Vinilla Extract
    1 tsp Baking Powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F
Using a blender mix all ingredients (except walnuts and chips), adding the beans last. Mix walnuts and chips in by hand and pour batter into greased 8"X8" pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
