Definitely does not sound like something for my diet especially with all the salt, heavy cream, milk etc.
I am in love with cheesy grits also. Try this: get rid of the heavy cream and substitute soy milk cream. Far less fat and calories and the same taste. You may need to add a bit more salt but it works great!
