I'M GOING TO MAKE THIS WITH MY BONELESS PORK LOIN FOR TONIGHT'S DINNER....RINSING OFF CANNED PRODUCTS IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING, OTHERWISE THEY ARE WAY TOO SALTY...IT DEPENDS ON WHAT IT IS, TUNA DOESN'T RINSE TOO WELL...
This dish is so good, always rinse your kraut to get rid of some of the sodium.
when you use the kraut.. rinse it in a colander under cold water for about 2 minutes.. the salty taste is gone .. they have to use salt to keep it on the shelf.
tasty. a bit salty,otherwise delicious!
I did not make this yet but when I do i will rinse off the sauerkraut to help lower the sodium but it sounds good to me.
Using the bagged saurkraut instead of bottled or canned helps with the sodium content.
