Nutrition & Calorie Comments  

Easy to make and absolutely delicious! I used 1/2 cup whole wheat flour in place of 1/2 cup of the white flour, and unsalted butter. These are very portable too and are as good as any donut shop or bakery muffins. This recipe is a keeper. Thanks for sharing!
You can substitute applesauce, yogurt, liquid butter buds, even sour cream for the butter with very good results. If you are not worried about sugar, you can even substitute pancake syrup or corn syrup for better results :)
Can you substitute something else for the butter (margarine)? Butter and margarine are so high in fat.
