First, there is no salt in it and it really needs a little. Second, my crockpot can only be set by hours. I mistakenly set it for 6 hours, not thinking that it would cook at high. It turned to a sludgy mess. If you have a crockpot that it by hours, probably set it at 10 hours to cook it on low.
