Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Awesome soup! The lentils stay whole, it's very filling, with lots of fiber. I use smoked sea salt instead of plain, also a good option for vegetarians to get the smoky flavor without the meat. Thanks for a great recipe!
What kind of other protein sources works well with this soup other than ham. It's to much sodium in ham for me. Other than that it sounds like a great recepie. Will be cooking it on Wednesday.
I love this soup. Am making it now, minus the ham. I am just using the bacon for flavor, and sodium free chicken broth flavor.
