Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I just made this tonight. It was very tasty. I used 4 lb. Of red/green grapes. I used low fat cream cheese, lite sour cream and I used 1/4 c. splenda. I also used both Almond and Vanilla extract. I toasted the chopped pecans and topped with 1 1/2 tbsp. Splenda brown sugar and then placed on grapes.
Used to order grape salad at an upscale steakhouse. Not as good as theirs, but much healthier I'm sure. I didn't have any nuts on hand and I didn't use the brown sugar because it was sweet enough. I will probably play with it a little next time, but will definately make it again.
I don't use Splenda, so I made it with regular sugar for my graduation party. Everyone LOVED it and had a few people ask for the recipe. I can't ever have leftovers in my house or else I can't help myself from finishing the whole thing... sooo good!
Since I cannot have Splenda, nor any type of sugar substitue, I left out the sugar entirely. I did however drizzle a tad of honey over top. It still was delicious, and I definetly will make this again!!!!!!!!!1 GOD bless!
My husband hates sour cream in anything, so I substituted nonfat plain yogurt and it turned out good. I also added other fruit to make it a mayo-free fruit salad. I think I will make this for Thanksgiving Dinner.
I definitely will be making this.It is *awesome*! I had the non diabetic version of it but will use Splenda when I make it again since my sugar is too high.
