Great idea lovely with brown sugar used my sugar cane juice cooked down
This was fabulous!! Even my husband had to agree. The amount of crust on top is the most impressive, and still only 205 calories per serving. We add fat free frozen yogurt, making the dessert very appealing, flavorful, and very worth making again and again. Thank you!
Great recipe, I substitued splenda brown sugar and served with fat free frozen yogurt, excellent treat for that sweet tooth.
I can't wait to make this recipe! the last one I made had about 600 calories per serving so this would be a great alternative! Thanks everyone for the reviews!
Tripled the recipe for a 10x15 dish.
Also added 3/4 cup almond powder (adds protein) & 1/2 cup ground flaxseed (helped lessen the need for extra butter w/ larger batch). I only used 1/2 cup butter for all.
Tasted great, hot out of the oven w/ a bit of vanilla ice cream on top.
yummy. we made it exactly. I added peak protein granola crumbles to the top prior to baking for added crunch and flavor.
i made this recipe for a tester for a big dessert party lol yup a dessert party and i used home grown apples also but i used to splenda brown sugar and i rolled the tart apples in a bit of it also and my whole family and nabours loved it.
Thanks for posting this! I made half the recipe - and used Splenda brown sugar and Smart Balance Butter - it is GRRRRRRReat! Going in my recipe box!
