Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This was great! I only had Honey Roasted almonds, so I used those & cut the sugar down to 1/2 cup and left out the salt. I also used glass loaf pan & it worked out fine. Mine took about 75 mins. I served it with a light spread of butter & a dash of cinnamon on top. Will definitely make again
Rating this as I eat the first slice.... Very easy to make. I followed "dafycuc"'s tip and added some cinnamon and nutmeg to it. I also added a 1/2 cup of oatmeal and substituted the reg sugar with brown sugar.Cooking time for me was 75 min. It's moist and tastes lovely!
I loved this recipe--I substituted applesauce for half of the butter and egg beaters for the eggs to lighten it up a bit--about 30 calories and 4.2 grams of fat per slice. Will definitely make this again, but I'll check it sooner next time, it got a bit overdone--I pulled it out at 82 minutes.
