Yum! I replaced 1/4 c of the ww flour with almond flour, used 1 T of regular sugar and increased the baking powder to 1T. I also added fresh blueberries. The pancakes were fluffy and filling! Next time I'll double the recipe and keep extras in the freezer for before-school breakfast!
I added a pinch of cinnamon and 1/2 cup of blueberries. I topped it with some sugar free apricot preserves. Very good!
I used brown sugar (1.5 tbsp) instead of sweetener and added in extra apple sauce for the taste. Delish !!
These were really good tasting! I added some sugar and cinnamon blend to the batter. I ended up ruining them by pouring sugar free syrup on them. And let me just say that some things cant be substituted. Will def make again but wont ruin with sf syrup.
Delicious! I subbed brown sugar for the Splenda, added the juice of half a lemon to activate the baking powder, added some cinnamon, and put a little bit of white flour in with the whole wheat to lighten it up for my family. They loved it!
I changed things up slightly - using unsweetened almond milk instead, used real sugar and adding blueberries. I added a couple of extra tablespoons of almond milk just to thin out a bit. They were delicious and easy! Thanks for a great recipe!
I made these for dinner because I needed something quick and not too heavy I could feed my nephew between coming home from school and going to martial arts class. He and his grandfather both liked them, but they needed a bit more liquid in the mix for us.
Excellent pancakes, I did not add the salt and did not add as much articfical sweetner but couldn't tell the difference. Will definately make again.
Very good base receipe.....multiplied by 4 put the rest in the freezer to have thoughout the week! Sub. real raw sugar and used half f/f butermilk and half 2% milk! Very Good!!!
I made these with real sugar and using only the egg white. They were very good and had a great consistency- just like unhealthy pancakes!
i used fat free buttermilk in place of skim milk and they were fantastic! thanks for the recipe
There is pectin in the applesauce, so these are a good occasional and definitely better than the mix variety. Also being forgiving of alterations, you can add your own fiberous offerings to your meal. One recipe I am keeping!
Haven't made these, but for those of you worried about the fiber content it should probably read something like 4.8g of dietary fiber; if you look under ingredient detail wheat flour, white is listed not whole wheat flour which would explain the contradiction
These are not high in fiber
Excellent recipe - will definitely make again. I substituted lowfat vanilla soymilk and added frozen blueberries.
I made the pancakes and am eating right now. The recipe is fantastic! Oh, I'm vegetarian so...I used egg replacer instead of eggs, vanilla soy milk instead of skim milk and brown sugar instead of artificial sweetener
These pancakes were awesome. I used just the egg white and cut the salt in half. I could imagine how they taste with those blueberries in them! next time!
