Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Yes, very good. The store didn't have banana peppers, so I just used plain ol' bell pepper. I cut the pepper in half and since it lay flat, I didn't have to wrap it in foil. I did add some salt and herb mixture. I'll make this again,
Real similar to mine. I take jalapenos and cut the top off and scoop out the seeds and membrane, then stuf with neufchatel (cream cheese with less fat and calories. Wrap with 1/2 slice of thin bacon and place in a pan to hold upright and place on grill. Always a big hit at barbeques.
Excellent dish!! Used Anaheim peppers for me and bell peppers for hubby. Cooked in oven on 400. Fabulous! I will make again. Oh - also used regular Gouda and low sodium bacon.
WOW! I baked 'em in a muffin tin, variety of fresh peppers from garden, 1 to 3 peppers to a "muffin" - they baked well at 350- 40 minutes. I see a number of variations and I will sure try using a low fat sharp cheddar next time- then who knows after that! Many possibilities, and me w/many peppers!
This was wonderful! I used low fat cream cheese instead of gouda (thats all I could find) and it was great! I will definately make this again.
so 4 peppers make 4 servings...one pepper is 140 cals!? i know everything in moderation...
i made another recipe before that combined ff cream cheese with bacon bits (jarred) and some low fat shredded cheese. they also come out good if you are fresh out of gouda and real bacon ;)
I'm Doin Low carb..so I leave out the panko...and viola!~ perfect
