Introduction

I got this recipe from lifehack.org. It is awesome! But actually takes longer than one minute to produce the final outcome. I got this recipe from lifehack.org. It is awesome! But actually takes longer than one minute to produce the final outcome.

Ingredients

    4 cups flour
    2 cups water
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp yeast

Directions

1. Mix warm water and yeast, add flour and salt, stir into heavy batter (should be thicker than pancake batter)

2. Cover with hand towel or plastic wrap and let sit for 8-12 hours, or until doubled in size.

3. After 8-12 hours, preheat the oven to 400F and flour a baking pan, pour the dough onto the pan (it will be sticky!). Sprinkle with herbs.

4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Set it aside to cool for at least 10 minutes (otherwise it will deflate when you try to cut it!)

I've been making this bread for a couple years now and we're addicted. My recipe says to leave it for 16 hours, and that always turns out great for me. I think there's some wriggle room, so that just makes it even more convenient! - 12/18/18
