Ingredients

    1 (16 oz) box of Great Value penne rigate, cooked according to package directions

    2.25 (lb) lean ground beef (93/7) - browned, drained and rinsed

    1 (26 oz) jar of Great Value Chunky Garlic & Onions Pasta Sauce

    Half of a (6 oz) package of Hormel Turkey pepperoni

    1 (8 oz) package of HEB fat free shredded mozzarella cheese


Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Crumble and brown ground beef, drain and rinse under hot water. Return to pan and add pasta sauce.

Combine pasta, meat sauce, pepperoni and a handful of mozzarella cheese. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Spread remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or so until cheese melts.

Divide dish into 12 servings.

    Pretty good. I make a similar recipe to this, but I let it bake for longer, about 45 minutes. I think that helps the pasta stay together better. Adding cooked frozen spinach gives the dish some color! - 11/3/10
