"Divinely spiced" according to my honey, the avid shrimp fan. I sauteed them with sliced mushrooms, bell pepper and scallions and served over quinoa. Will be repeated in our house for sure, and I look forward to trying it with other proteins. Thank you! - 11/8/10

This was VERY tasty. We placed the warm shrimp mixture over a cup of baby spinach for a "warm salad." Also added snow peas, red peppers, and a bit of onion. Very versatile - will try again with a bit of peanut butter taste. - 1/19/11

I substituted Thai Red Curry paste for the chili paste and it was delish! If you use raw shrimp to start with then you have less chance of overcooking the meat and turning it rubbery. - 5/6/08

Perfect! I couldn't find the paste and used 1 tsp of sweet chili sauce instead. I tossed in a clove of minced, sauteed garlic to make up for the missing paste. - 3/29/08

I used agave nectar instead of honey and added some soy sauce to offset the sweetness. You can use sriacha sauce (rooster sauce) for the chili garlic sauce. And I used ginger paste. It turned out tasty. - 2/11/10

Seriously full flavoured and scrumptious! I am amazed at the variety of tastes; I used both fresh ginger and ground. We had this with steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and brown rice. The toasted sesame seeds on tiny shrimps added a nice crunch. I served it with a crisp white wine from Portugal. Yum! - 4/30/13

I really loved the sweet and spicy flavor of this recipe. I served mine over a bed of 50/50 salad mix. The sauce was a great dressing too! Perfect alternative to fried shrimp. - 9/24/13

I loved this! I made more sauce so I could add plenty of veggies and still be able to lightly cover everything with sauce. I didn't make rice or pasta, just the stir fry itself, and it was just perfect! - 3/30/13

I added a LOT of powdered ginger & fresh minced garlic. Then I mixed this in with a giant salad made with sunflower sprouts, some fresh apple, some hulled hemp seed, broccoli, shredded carrots, and spinach. It was freaking delicious. I wish I would have taken a photo of it, but I ate it up too fast! - 2/15/12

Yum Yum! So Easy and tasty. My grocery was out of chili garlic so I just used chili paste and it was fine. I made extra sauce, added more shrimp and a bag of fresh stir fry veggies, and served it over quinoa. My BF loved it and so did I! - 12/9/11

Accidentally quadrupled the chili garlic paste so it was quite spicy but delicious! Added green peppers and tomatoes from the fridge. Next time I will save the sauce to toss with the hot cooked shrimp because my pan burned some of the marinade. - 10/26/11

I wanted to make this but can't find chili garlic paste. What is it? - 2/19/08

Sorry, I JUST noticed your question.
Chili garlic paste is available with the chinese foods in the store. I used to just get it in the Asian market, but it's turning up in more and more stores.

AH-MAY-ZING! I did use a pound of large shrimp, minced garlic and srisacha sauce for the spicey garlic paste (2 TBSP) to make it really hot. I probably used 3 TBSP of honey and low sodium soy then maybe half a TBSP of ginger. all in all - it came out great! my hubby will love it! :) - 1/27/10

Very good. I used a 2 lb bag of cooked shrimp to make this for a family of 5. That meant using about 12x the amounts of other ingredients as well.
Added a couple handfuls of snap peas and a sliced orange bell pepper. Served over rice.
