Introduction

A healthy alternative to the quesadilla! A healthy alternative to the quesadilla!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 whole wheat tortilla
    1.5 tbsp lowfat cream cheese
    1 apple
    Cinnamon or other flavoring (optional)

Directions

Spread cream cheese on tortilla.
Slice apples into thin slices and lay on top.
Fold over like a quesadilla and cut into wedges.

There is a lot of apple so I eat the rest on the side. Sprinkle on cinnamon if you want! Tastes good heated too.

This is absolutely delicious. Tried it hot and cold. Warm was better but good both ways. I also added a little Splend to mine. Yum Yum!! - 3/8/07

I thought this was super! I cooked the apples in cinnamon in a skillet before I put them in the tortilla, and I used FF cream cheese and FF butter (5 calories per T!) in the tortilla, and then I grilled it in a skillet. It was super incredible! - 4/21/09

I heated it over the stove to melt the cheese and it was tasty but messy. - 7/13/07

I heat this up and it is sooooo good. I still haven't figured out how to slice the apples thin enough to keep them in the quesadilla though. - 3/25/07

Very easy to make. Tastes pretty good heated up in the microwave (about 30 seconds). I think it would have tasted better if I had cooked the apples and cinnamon before putting them into the quesadilla. - 6/17/07
