I re entered all the ingredients but WITHOUT THE BUN (8servings)
    Cal 147, Fat 6, Sodium 426, Carbs 10, Fibre 2.6, Protein 13.8.
You can save a lot if you are careful with what BBQ sauce & bun you choose. Remember no bun is on these stats.
Happy munching, I can't wait to make this

I despise ground turkey, but this was a good way to use up the lb I had in my freezer. I served it over toasted whole grain bread, with a shot of hot sauce, and I didn't even know it was gr. turkey!!! - 2/26/09

Have not tried this yet, but will. Wanted to comment on the person who said they hated ground turkey. The brand has lots to do with whether you like it or not. Try another brand. Also, if you still can't find one you like, try mixing 1/2 pound of ground turkey with 1/2 pound ground beef. - 10/25/09

This was ok but it needed more flavors. Next time I will add garlic and italian seasonings. I also left out the peppers and mushrooms as we don't care for them much. But we'll probably be making this again. - 10/4/09

I made this recipe using extra lean ground turkey breast and low sodium canned tomatoes. I added some Mrs. Dash for some added flavor and used lower sodium salsa in place of the barbeque sauce. I served it on the whole wheat slimwich buns and enjoyed them very much. I will definitely make again. - 8/12/09

I probably won't make this again. Hubby and I both thought it was very boring. If I do make it again I'll throw in a LOT of spices, just not sure what. Maybe some onion powder, ground mustard, Worcestershire sauce. I'd probably use ketchup instead of BBQ sauce! - 7/29/09

Very good and very filling. I just wonder why the Turkey Joes recipe has 259 calories per serving and this one has 429 calories when the recipes are very similar. I will probably stick to the other recipe if the calorie counts are correct because of this. - 1/13/08

This is good! Here's something I do to add vegetables to something like this or Manwich - add shredded slaw makings. Cabbage and carrot in the prepackaged mix. Simmer until cabbage is tender. It really adds a sweetness to the dish. And it tastes great on a bun. - 2/18/10

I threw the ingredients into the recipe calculator and came up w/ roughly 130 cals per, incl "mixed grain" bun. Sodium is 431 mgs - high if you're watching yours, but not if you're not (500-2500 mgs/day avg). Generally VERY healthy; not sure where 428 cals comes from. I'd eat these! - 7/4/09

If you divide the entire calorie count by 8 it will be around 60 calories a serving, which is NOT possible. I think the posted calorie count is probably close to correct counting the ingredients and bun. Sounds good, but I don't know if I would want to consume that many calories. I might use just th - 6/29/09

A nice variation on a family favorite. Whenever possible I use "no salt added" canned vegetables, so I added some extra seasonings to this recipe; and I used both green and sweet red peppers. This won't necessarily replace my regular sloppy joe recipe, but it is certainly a meal I will make again. - 10/25/09

438 calories is a ridiculous amount of calories to spend on a sloppy joe. That's about what I have calorie-wise for breakfast AND lunch. Someone said you divide the calories by 8 but I don't see where it instructs us to do that. The bun alone is 140 calories. I won't be trying this. - 8/21/09
