I make homemade bread regularly (although not with a breadmachine). This recipe did great in my Bosche mixer. The texture was perfect and it had an almost perfect flavor. Next time I'll add a tad more salt. Definately a keeper recipe. - 3/15/07

My bread machine doesn't get much time to rest since I 'discovered' this recipe. My family love it and I've got to keep a constant supply in the house. Thanx for a gr8 recipe - 1/4/09

I am going to try this tomorrow. I like the fact that out of the many recipes posted, this one is lower in calories, fat, and carbs. I'm hoping it won't raise my blood sugar as much. Thanks for posting it! - 9/17/12

This sounds very good. My bread maker doesn't have a rapid rise setting. Which setting should I use:
    Basic light
    Basic medium
    Basic dark
    Whole Wheat Light
    Whole weat medium
    French
    Sweet

I'll try this tonight for dinner. I grind my own wheat so i'll have to use whole wheat flour. Should be wonderful though. - 1/8/09

NUTS - I wish I had a bread machine. This sounds awesome. I wonder if there's a way to modify it to bake in the oven... - 1/8/09

What size of loaf does this make? It must be pretty large to get 24 slices out of it. I am kind of questioning the calorie count. - 1/2/08
