I would use reduced sodium soy sauce for this, otherwise it's too salty. I also used brown rice. This is delicious! - 1/6/12

We fixed this just as written. Next time, I would like to add onions for a little more flavor. The recipe yielded more like 7-8 1-cup servings. We made it with brown rice...and it turned out really good. It was very easy to prepare and the best home-made chicken fried rice we've had so far. - 9/24/10

I make this recipe with a few changes that make it heart healthy. Instead of using real eggs, I use egg beaters. I also stew my chicken first instead of pan frying, then add it at the end to warm it. I use green onions (abt 1tbsp) in mine. - 4/6/10

I used the peas only as I do not like cooked carrots. Next time I make it I will also add green onion and maybe some bean sprouts. This was tasty! - 6/7/07
