i havent' made this but when i make my usual kugel, i use cottage cheese instead of cream cheese. it makes for a lighter kugel and is naturally low in fat. - 12/3/07

There are so many variations. For my version, I use low fat ricotta instead of cream cheese and fat free sour cream instead of milk. I also like crushed pineapple in natural juice instead of sugar. - 6/2/10

    Incredible!
I´ve prob´ly made this a dozen times. i likeit for breakfast. Quick! Also great with cooked fruit - add a little cornstarch mixed in water and microwave w/the fruit first - then use in recipe. Have you heard of precooked noodles? Do a search on Amazon.com. They save time and mess! - 3/19/07
