Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1Cup Kraft Free Cheddar Cheese
    6 Cups of Shredded or Chopped Lettuce
    2 cups of Cherry Tomatoes
    2 cups of cut cucumbers
    8 Tablespoons of Light or Reduced Fat Sour
    Cream
    8 Tablespoons of Salsa
    8 Tablespoons of Fat Free Ranch Dressing
    1 Package of Taco Seasoning
    1 LB 96 % Lean Ground Beef



Directions

Makes 4 Servings

Cook Ground Beef. Add Taco Seasoning and Follow directions on Taco Seasoning Packet.

While Ground beef is cooking Mix Fat Free Ranch Dressing and Salsa together and put aside. Prepare Lettuce, Tomatoes and cucumbers as you would to make a salad.

Once Ground beef and Taco Seasoning is finished cooking place 4 ozs of beef mixture on top of salad, add Fat Free Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream and Ranch & Salsa combination on top and enjoy.

Note: you can substitute chicken breast or ground chicken. Also, you can add additional vegatables according to your taste.

    I love taco salad, but not the sodium, I use my own seasonings that are low in sodium and use turkey instead of beef, as well I use catalina dressing instead of ranch and mix it with salsa.
