This is a great Hungry Girl dot com recipe. I use these Shirataki noodles it a zillion ways and no one has noticed. They are great in casseroles. I do have one tip.
RINSE RINSE RINSE. I rinse them under hot water for about 5 minutes. Drain them well so they will absorb other flavors in the dish.

This HG recipe is pretty darn good for 92 calories. I made it for the first time today with Soy Parmesan and it was very tasty for a day when I was close to the edge ofmy calorie limit. Thanks for listing it on Spark. - 9/8/08

You HAVE to rinse the noodles 3-4 times in cold water then par boil them and dry.I hated these the first time I tried it. Had the alfredo tonight fantastic for low carb and calories. For non meat eaters like myself with a gardein chicket cutlet great option. - 3/18/13

Was so excited about making this dish but it's unfortunate that they smell like the solution used in frog dissections and then when you bite into them... yuck. I'm too am not picky at all. I'll eat most things but I can hardly get these down. Waste of a laughing cow cheese! - 1/22/12

Made this recipe, first time using the noodles. Like others have said..rinse well! They have quite an odor, do not let that bother you. I then boiled them for a minute or two, drained and then patted dry. Used recipe above, I also added some garlic and red pepper flakes. I will be making this again! - 11/9/11

Props to those of you who can stand to eat the shirataki noodles, but i can't stand them, and i'm not a picky eater by any means! They literally have the texture of worms, and they have a somewhat rubbery texture. I could see this being good with another brand of low carb noodles, but not these. - 12/4/08
