we have been making this salad in our family for years we have been making this salad in our family for years
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    2 stalks celery chopped
    2 dill pickles chopped
    1 10 z pkg elbow macaroni cooked
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1 can black olives chopped

Directions

mix all chopped ingredients and macaroni in large bowl and stir in mayo

    I've made this for years, too, only adding a bit of boiled egg. We added paprika to the top to add the color. Oh, the olive makes it GREAT. - 5/25/09

    Honestly I haven't ever measured it out into cups but I know that it usually is about 12-15 servings. I usually eat about 1/2 cup to a cup of it. Sorry

    I made this yesterday for a friends party. Most people wouldn't try it but those who did said they loved it! One even asked for the recipe. I guess when you're in PA Dutch Country people just don't want to try something different. Sigh. I also added some chopped carrots to make it pop with color - 8/31/08
